Apple Fest

Apple Fest was a great way to culminate out study of plants and what they need to survive. This was such a good way to show students that work can be fun!

At this center, students were tasting three popular apple types-Golden Delicious, Granny Smith and Red Delicious. They described the apples and then graphed their favorite types and analyzed the results.

Next, we ate apples dipped in many different yummy toppings: caramel, marshmallow creme, peanut butter, cherrios, marshmallows, chocolate chips

Then-bobbing for apples!!

We crafted using a glyph.

Then there was the gravity center! We experimented with the heights to discover what would make the apples go faster. Racing apples was one of the favorites of the day!

Apple bowling! Wear the bottles are the pins and the apples are the balls. This was THE favorite:)
