Town Mouse and Country Mouse

This week we talked about the elements of a story and focused mainly on Characters. 

We focused on one text for the week to really let the students think about the characters and how they feel, what they do and what they look like. 

Here was some of our thinking: 

We made cute little puppets based on which character each student liked best. We also made the setting of the story and we cast our votes to see which one was most liked:

On Friday, we retold the story with our puppets on stage:
